The matrix, statistics, print view, share snapshot, and ICS gate all consume the same effective assignments and validation result. The generator can identify:
- Required Day or Night coverage that is missing or assigned more than once.
- Overlapping crew or member assignments and conflicting shift windows.
- Member rest that falls below your planning threshold, plus optional member-count warnings.
- Invalid or ambiguous local times, daylight-saving duration changes, and publication blockers.
Review before you print, share, or export
Blockers keep a schedule in Draft and prevent ICS export. Warnings remain visible for human review. A Draft can still be backed up, printed with a watermark, or shared as a read-only snapshot when that boundary is understood.
What the generator cannot decide
The generator cannot see actual attendance, qualifications, leave, handoff duties, bargaining agreements, local law, payroll rules, or individual fitness for duty. Its output is a planning document, not an operational approval.
